Across the courtyard from our award-winning Petronella House, Copper View has also been restored and converted to ancillary accommodation, given the same love and attention.

The historic coach house was in a state of disrepair before refurbishment, but showed fascinating remnants of its original use, such as the stone floor and drainage channel in the stable and post holes from the stable stalls. The hayloft was only accessed by a ladder in the centre of the plan, and had a door in the gable end where the feed was brought in.

The landscape between the two buildings has also been re-envisioned. Cobbles are drawn through from the front steps, giving a cohesive feel to the two spaces. A beautiful olive tree sits between Copper View and copper clad extension of the main house.
